The first place that I take out of state guests in Colorado is up Big Thompson Canyon which connects my town of Greeley to Estes Park and the edge of Rocky Mountain National Park, probably the ultimate destination. The canyon is spectacular! This particular photo does not show the narrow steep walled passage with just room for a two lane road and multiple turn offs for fishing enthusiasts along the river. As is often the case, I am looking off in the opposite direction from the beautiful Kodak scenery and river rapids. I love these trees and rocks on the other side!
