These lavender towers were quite tall – but I loved the contrast between the solid blown glass forms and the very delicate grasses around them.  Like many of Chihuly’s  glass forms in the gardens, they take on different appearances in different seasons.  I would have taken an entirely different photograph if these were buried in snow!
