Crow Creek runs through my old town of Hereford, Colorado and 25 miles to the south (near Briggsdale) passes through a campground with nice amenities and facilities for campers. And birders.  It is well utilized in the spring, summer and fall months – but closed during the winter.  It is a lovely place to picnic and enjoy our fine feathered friends and perhaps a deer or two.  As with my picture from the Adirondacks entitled Maple and Beech…most of the leaves have gone from the trees here but I love to capture the last standing displays of color.  And to share them with you.
