Eagle Rock Reservation is a 400 acre park above my hometown of Montclair on the ridge of the Watchung Mountains.  The park now features a 9-11  memorial and wonderful view of the NYC skyline. Which on 9-11 featured the horrific plume from the Twin Towers.   It welcomes hikers, horses and pets.  It was originally “designed” by Nature and assisted by Frederick Law Olmsted, famous for his “design” of Central Park in Manhattan – and the landscaping of my childhood church in Montclair, New Jersey. We used to look out from this park and see one tenth of the population of the United States!  Typically, I am showing you some grasses instead of showing you that view!
