MY walk was Elizabeth Street…This may be Mott Street?  At any rate…China Town in lower Manhattan.  What photographer could not be drawn to the colors and patterns of the fire escapes and building facades along the way.  Of course the streets below are equally colorful and crowded with people – residents AND tourists.  There is a Chinese expression – “ren shan, ren hai” – translating to “people mountain, people sea” which abstractly means a whole lot of people.  That would be China Town in New York.  Leave it to me to ignore the crowd and focus on the buildings!
