This is a favorite spot of mine in Rye, New York – the Rye Wetlands Conservancy adjacent to Long Island Sound. I have taken four annual photographs in this vicinity and each has its own character. Alas, my friends in Rye have moved away and my Haiku series is probably complete at this point. This photograph was my first in this location.
