Meanwhile…back in Richard’s Garden in Nebraska…a giant hosta leaf melts away after a showy season. No way of knowing which sort of showy leaf this had been in its prime. As I discovered many things in this garden, I was introduced to the hosta plant which I subsequently found EVERYWHERE. But my first love is for the way these leaves and pods and sticks and stones and seeds all melt away together in abstract beauty as one season ends and another draws nigh. Watch this space for more hosta beauty.
