A decorative hand painted box at the Japanese antique gallery called Shibui in Brooklyn.  It was the color that I found irresistible!  It seemed a perfect match for the adjacent flowers.  Shibui is a wonderful collection of large and small Japanese treasures – I highly recommend that you visit when you are in the area.  They have been most gracious to me about taking photographs in the gallery – and I don’t think I have ever left empty handed.
