This Tibetan Monastery is in Xining, Qinghai Province, northwestern China near Qinghai Hu, the largest lake in China and visible on almost all maps of the country.  I was taken there by my wonderful Chinese hosts about five years ago and my dream now is to return to discover and appreciate ever more of this beautiful and interesting country.
