Opening and closing this month’s selection with photographs from the Adirondacks in New York State, from Piseco Lake , from a place which has been special to all of my family starting with my maternal grandfather’s generation and continuing through my neices and nephews.  My brothers Bruce and Jay, and I learned much of what we needed to know to live the lives we have found.  As different as those lives may have been, we shared many memories and stories that had their beginnings here.  This peaceful setting of the sun – with its gentle breeze and pine scents and lapping water sounds is posted to honor my oldest brother, Bruce, who passed away earlier this month.  He will be missed but remembered and will always be part of our story.
