This has been a surprisingly popular selling card – surprising because it is a place that most of my customers have never been.  But there must be something universal about the running stream, the dappled lighting, colors in the water and peaceful reflections.  I know for a fact that my oldest brother, Bruce, who passed away this past month, stood on this very spot – as have almost all members of my family – and paused to admire the colors, listen to the water and birds, and enjoy their own inner peaceful reflections.  For me, it is a meaningful image from the Adirondacks with which to begin the month of August and to offer my deep respect to Bruce and all who can enjoy this space.
