Back in the woods in the Adirondack Mountains, this is a familiar sight.  Those who have been there will remember the spongy feeling underfoot, the fragrance of the balsam pine, and the dampness in the air.  This particular moss universe is at Fiddlar’s Lake near Lake Pleasant, New York which is near Piseco, New York, my own personal heaven on earth.  Keep watching the Adirondack category below for more images from this area.
