This landscape has to be seen to be believed.  And then it begs to have you back to see it again.  A lifetime inspiration for artists and photographers. Georgia O’Keefe worked here and a million others of us can say we did too!  Every visitor goes home with a memory of color and shapes that don’t begin to exist where most of us live.  I like to remind myself that this is fragile terrain.  It is not durable and permanent.  It will change and erode and requires care and protection.  My photographs from northern New Mexico can only document this moment in time.
