It is purely coincidental that I juxtaposed a picture of drought and a picture of incoming rain!  Apologies!  Our Colorado prairie is always presenting contrasts of sun and shadow, sunshine and storm clouds.  This terrain has changed considerably with the presence of both wind turbines and oil production.  I was lucky enough to live nearby these buttes before those industries arrived.  It has been a while since I posted any photos from the area – but I have a category on this website for prairie pictures – you can check it out!
