Autumn 2019 in Piseco, New York – Adirondack autumn splendor. It was a particularly beautiful year – followed by a freak rainstorm event which brought it all to an early end. I was so fortunate to have been there the week that I was. A few days later all of my photographic work would have been impossible. Trails were washed out. Grasses were underwater. Properties were damaged. Roads were impassable. Needless to say…leaves were stripped. I have seen many people’s pictures from this year – and nature has won another battle – it is gorgeous up there again.
