As if the layering of so many geological formations and colors and textures of rocks were not miracle enough – aren’t we always amazed when a single seedling finds a space in which to grow.  This pine is no seedling any more, but a full gown tree which gives an indication of the massive scale of the rocks themselves!  Roxborough Park is a popular  area for hiking and birding and for some lucky few, has also a nearby residential area.  I always thought that ROXborough was a suitable name given its awesome display and variety of ROCKS and amazing geological variety.
