I publish this particular eastern autumn picture for my friends Meg and Chris who took me to visit this woodland paradise every year.  I am grateful for their friendship and for all the beauty that they shared with me.  Thankfully I can remember all of the good times we shared when I look at my own photographs from Rye, New York.
