In Colorado, we are fortunate to have many diverse ethnic and cultural friends and neighbors who share their lives, music, dance, dress, children, art and crafts and celebrations with their communities.  We have much to learn from each other and to miss these opportunities is a shame.  As a fact check…this young girl was dancing at the Cheyenne Frontier Days a bit north of Colorado.  I hope to visit again this year and come home with another indigenous flute to add to my own musical grown and education.  The sounds from the flute are a reminder of how lucky I am to be witness to this beauty.  It is ageless and it is accessible to all.  Be aware and open to receive these gifts!
