I am the proud owner and user of some really special walking sticks which have been hand selected from Beaver Dam stockpiles in the Adirondack mountains and lovingly sanded and varnished to perfection.  Irregularities and jigs and jags make them unique and admired by passers by.  I fantasize that this would be a real crowd pleaser with its knobby handle and appendages!  No guarantees that it would be strong enough for use as a cane…but artful indeed!  It is growing in a garden in Nebraska and it is not available for trial.
